DETAILED ITINERARY
Start of the tour: 9:00 am
End of the tour: 4:00 pm
-First day:
º Pick up from the airport, brief city tour during the trip to the pier of the Port of Nanay to take the boat, the Nanay River is a tributary of the Amazon River.
º Departure to the lodge, sail 50 km along the Amazon River in a private boat (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes) to reach the lodge.
º Welcome drink of regional fruits upon arrival at Savia Lodge and delivery of rooms;
º Self-service lunch;
º Walk in the primary forest to see the giant tree "la ceiba", a tree more than 200 years old, learning about medicinal plants.
º Self-service dinner.
º Night excursion, to explore for tarantula, night monkey, tree boa, observe the star constellation (depending on the weather), and much more.
º Amazonian stories and legends narrated by the guide.

-Second day:
º Bird watching, learn about the different types of tropical and endemic birds of our Amazon rainforest.
º Self-service breakfast.
º Visit monkey rescue center, observe different types of monkeys in their natural habitat, you will be able to interact very closely with the curious primates, take away a unique and unforgettable experience.
º Self-service lunch;
º Observation of gray and pink dolphins, a unique freshwater species, and swimming with dolphins in the Amazon River.
º Sport fishing for piranhas and other fish, enjoy this entertaining activity fishing for piranhas, catfish, pacos, sardines and much more.
º Watch the sunset on the Amazon River, observe this wonderful scene of the sun setting between the Amazon forests.
º Self-service dinner.
º Farewell party (in group +5) with live typical music by our musical group "Enchantment of the Amazon", free cake (for birthdays or anniversaries).
º Night at the lodge.
-Third day:
º Watch the sunrise from the Amazon River, live this spectacular experience of seeing the sun rise from the Amazon forests.
º Self-service breakfast.
º Visit an Amazonian village to learn about its traditions, culture, daily activities and survival in the jungle, and try typical Amazonian medicinal drinks.
º Visit the animal rescue center to hold the anaconda, the three-toed sloth, observe the prehistoric "mata mata" turtle and much more.
º Visit the Yagua tribe to learn about their dialect, clothing, dances, survival methods, and to practice the "Pucuna" or blowgun, a weapon of war and hunting of the Yagua tribe.
º Self-service lunch
º Return to Iquitos
º Transfer to the airport. END OF SERVICE.

-RECOMMENDATIONS WHAT TO BRING?
Bring a backpack, light clothing due to the heat such as: long pants, shorts, polo shirts, long-sleeved shirts, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, sandals, sneakers or shoes, a cap or hat, your personal items, swimwear and a towel. If you take any medication, take it with you. The yellow fever vaccine is not necessary.
Additional items such as a rain poncho, rubber boots and flashlights can be purchased in Iquitos.
-Things that you can donate at your will (it is not mandatory) are: books, notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, rulers, etc. They will be well received by our children from the rural community of San Rafael Rio Amazonas.
